Governing Our Response

As the world humanity continues to grapple with serious health and humanitarian crisis in the aftermath of Covid -19, Vertex has extended the work from home facility to all but critical employees so that they can perform their assigned tasks effectively from home.

We have also put in place a cross-functional team to tackle the COVID-19 situation, with good support from HR, Marketing or Sales. We have a well-defined Business

Continuity Management System that guides our typical response to such events. We have curtailed travel to some places and cancelled its in-person presence in the team meetings.

Additionally, we are sending internal communication mailers at regular intervals to all our employees detailing specific guidelines on how to cope with potential, suspected or verified COVID-19 cases.

  • We have provided personal safety gear, such as face masks for our staff, and carried out disinfectant spraying and temperature tests during our activities at workplace.
  • Those infected with COVID-19 will earn up to two weeks of compensated time off – in addition to regular paid and unpaid opportunities.

With the assistance of our employees, Vertex is committed to delivering effective deployment, faultless customer services, and operational support. We believe that by adhering to guidelines and advisories issued by local policy-makers, we can help do our bit to accelerate a remedy to the situation we find ourselves in.
